Morning Announcer/Producer: Serves as Announcer/Producer and Master Control Operator during on-air shifts.  Serves as announcer and master control operator during local music programming and live or taped network (and other acquired) programs.  Monitors transmitter performance and maintains transmitter program logs. Participates actively in on-air fundraising campaigns. Graham Parker – New VP of WQXR

People can have different relationships with WQXR besides broadcast.  Radio isn’t just FM anymore.  Great content will find people wherever they are – we need to open up the definition of what radio is.

Graham Parker, the new VP of Classical WQXR.  Parker is enthusiastic about the variety of platforms and programming coming out of WQXR, both on the air and online.  He comes to WQXR most recently from the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, an organization that has a unique philosophy of what an orchestra is.

Peter Goldsmith

Gabe Di Maio, Program Director of WNED in Buffalo reports the passing of beloved broadcaster and friend to many of us, Peter Goldsmith. It is with great sadness that I must report that Peter Goldsmith, the first Program Director of Classical 94.5 WNED, passed away suddenly on Tuesday night.
